Facility: Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital

Department/Specialty: Emergency Department

Schedule: Day-Shift | Weekend Option| Every Saturday/Sunday

Salary: $44.35 - $62.61 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily clinical operations by coordinating team resources and workflows to ensure every patient receives timely, high-quality care throughout their visit.
  • Mentor and grow your team by overseeing the orientation and training of new associates, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to excel in their roles.
  • Elevate care standards by designing and implementing clinical procedures that improve patient outcomes and keep the team aligned with best practices.
  • Act as a functional expert by working alongside providers and staff, stepping into patient care—such as managing vitals—to support the team during peak volumes.
  • Drive clinical compliance by monitoring work progress and reviewing performance to ensure the highest level of safety and policy adherence for our patients.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.

Education

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License: You must hold a current, valid license in the state of practice to lead clinical activities.
  • Proven Clinical Leadership Experience: A minimum of 2+ years in a lead, charge, or supervisory role is required to manage daily operations and staff evaluations effectively.
